Full Stack Developer
Radical Imaging is currently hiring for a Full Stack Developer - Medical Imaging. At Radical Imaging, you would be part of a fully remote team of passionate medical imaging professionals who aren’t satisfied with the normal way of doing things. We believe that open-source software is the best way to enable innovation and deliver cost-effective solutions which is why Radical has contributed over 5,000 hours of development time to open-source projects in medical imaging.
Radical has a relaxed and friendly work environment. You are trusted to work independently, although you won’t feel alone with your work because we help each other.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing software solutions to problems in medical imaging projects focused on the web development domain
- Creating automated tests (unit, integration, etc)
- Creating documentation for code and system components, interactions, etc.
- Debugging and/or troubleshooting software issues
- Conducting code reviews
- Providing pre-sales support (demos, answering questions) when things get technical
- Assisting in the creation of marketing content (blog posts, demo videos, etc) as needed
- Assisting architects and/or Tech Leads on R&D and provide low level support for detail design
- Be assigned to augment client's team to deliver high value software development
You Should Already Have
- Strong coding, debugging and troubleshooting skills in server side and client side programming in the following languages - JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Strong web domain experience with skills in both NodeJS and React
- Deep knowledge in relational and non-relational database development and administration
- Experience in Mongo DB deployment and administration
- Experience with Google cloud development is a plus
- Experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus
- Experience with Azure is a plus
- Standard network and security experience as relatd to backend development
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience working on open-source projects is desirable
- Experience with OHIF, Cornerstone or VTK.js is highly desirable
- Ability to support multiple projects
- BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent work experience
